Paint Correction & Sealant

Paint Correction: The Art of Leveling

Paint correction is the mechanical process of removing sub-surface imperfections in a vehicle’s clear coat. Unlike a standard “buff and wax,” true correction involves using abrasive polishes and machine polishers to physically level the paint. It fixes the Swirl marks (spider-webbing), fine scratches, bird drop etching, acid rain spots, and holograms caused by poor previous detailing.

Our Paint Correction Process

Stage 1

Surface Preparation & Decontamination

We begin with a complete surface cleanse using pH-neutral products. Iron removers and clay bar treatment eliminate embedded contaminants that regular washing cannot remove.

Stage 2

Multi-Stage Compounding

Using advanced machine polishers and cutting compounds, we safely remove deeper scratches and paint defects without damaging the clear coat.

Stage 3

Precision Polishing

We refine the surface with ultra-fine polishes to enhance clarity, depth, and gloss—creating a mirror-like, liquid shine effect.

Stage 4

Inspection & Finishing

Every panel is inspected under professional lighting to ensure a consistent, flawless finish across the entire vehicle.

The Goal: To achieve a surface that reflects light perfectly. When paint is “flat” at a microscopic level, it produces that deep, “wet” look that makes colors pop.

Paint Sealants: The Synthetic Shield

Once the paint is corrected, it is “naked” and vulnerable. A sealant is a synthetic polymer-based product designed to bond to the paint and provide long-term protection. Sealant vs. Wax: While traditional Carnauba wax is organic and provides a warm glow for about 4–6 weeks, sealants are engineered in a lab. They offer a “glassy” shine and typically last 4 to 6 months.

Key Benefits

UV Protection

Prevents the clear coat from oxidizing or fading in the sun.

Hydrophobicity

Creates a surface that repels water, making the car much easier to wash.

Chemical Resistance

Offers a sacrificial layer against road salt, sap, and industrial fallout.
